On Tuesday afternoon, ENPS had 4 Collingwood AFL players visit our school: Steele Sidebottom, Ash Johnson, Darcy Cameron and Finlay McCrae. The students in Years 3 - 6 had an opportunity to listen to their stories and ask any questions they may have had. The students asked some very interesting questions, such as how it felt to win the premiership, who their toughest opponent was and what club they previously played with as a junior. The players were very entertaining and the students had an opportunity to have merchandise signed as well as have some photos taken with the players. It was a really enjoyable afternoon and the students seemed thoroughly entertained and starstruck. Probably the person who enjoyed it the most was Miss V, a passionate Collingwood supporter and Mrs Jedrys who also attended with her children - even though it wasn’t a work day for her!!
